Terms and Conditions
iCare™ is the exclusive product of The Mac Store (A division of Computer Stores NW), as such, CSNW reserves the right to modify our terms and conditions as necessary. CSNW also reserves the right to cancel a specific membership for any reason, however, if we do so, we will refund the entire amount of the original iCare purchase at that time.
The iCare benefits are valid for the individual making the purchase as well as his or her immediately family. Services, such as the Free Loaner and Priority Repair, are limited to three separate computer systems per year, regardless of where purchased. iCare members are eligible to receive 50% off of one onsite service visit during the year membership period. Travel charges apply if onsite location is beyond 15 miles from location of computer purchase. All additional time requested by the customer will be billed at the standard hourly rate. Free Loaner
The iCare laptop loaner program is intended for the use of iCare participants only. As an iCare member, you have the option of a free loaner laptop of The Mac Store’s designation for the duration of your repair. This may also include a free data transfer from your serviced computer if the computer is capable of being seen by the Apple Migration Assistant. If it is not, then we can attempt a data transfer if the iCare member chooses, but regular data transfer rates will apply. At no time does The Mac Store or any of its affiliates guarantee the integrity of any data from any computer, whether loaner or the client’s machine.
The iCare member will be required to fill out our standard rental contract to receive the loaner, and a credit hold will be placed on the member’s credit card of choice for the duration of the loan. The Mac Store will not charge the credit card unless the iCare member does not bring back the loaner at the time they pick up his/her computer from service, or for any damage beyond normal wear and tear, to be solely determined by The Mac Store. Damage will be determined by our service technicians, and will be repaired at our normal service rate for parts and labor.
Priority Repair Service
In no way does priority repair service guarantee a specific timeline for computer repair, however iCare members will always receive priority treatment and service while their computer is in the shop to the best of our ability.

Sometimes it’s nice to have an expert technician come to your location when you’re having issues. Things like internet connectivity and networking issues aren’t always easy to diagnose when a computer is in the shop.
Ten Percent off any used Mac
Limit one computer per customer per year of iCare membership. Models listed on our website are subject to prior availability.
Mac Setup
iCare members are entitled to one Mac Setup each year of iCare membership. We will transfer files from your PC or Mac and install your licensed applications. Qualifying computers must be a Macintosh running OS 9 or later or a PC running Windows XP or later. Data transfer requires that your old computer is in working condition and has a USB or FireWire port. All customers must make a HelpDesk appointment to consult with a Macologist and fill out a Mac Setup Information Sheet prior to Mac Setup.
Note that if you put any data or information on your Mac prior to Mac Setup, it will be erased and the Mac will be restored to its factory condition prior to transferring the data from your old computer. Mac Setup services include the transfer and integration of your calendars, email, contacts, music, photos, bookmarks, and other documents from your personal user account, but not the accounts of others that might be on your old computer. CSNW does not guarantee the transfer of all data from a personal computer to your new Mac, as certain data, including, but not limited to, email, contacts, and calendar applications, may not be supported for transfer.
Limitation of Liability
Neither The Mac Store, nor its affiliates, agents, officers, employees or contractors shall have any liability whatsoever for any consequential or indirect or incidental damages with respect to the iCare program. In no event shall the liability of The Mac Store exceed the cost of the iCare membership purchased.
At no time is CSNW, its employees, agents or affiliates, responsible for the data on any computer. We strongly recommend a regular back-up schedule for any computer you use.
