Solving Bluetoothaches and Seized Hard Drives

By Macologist Tim J. posted on March 11th, 2010

Sometimes Bluetooth will suddenly stop working.  I have found that – true to what you’ll find on the forums – if you zap the PRAM and reset the SMC the problem is often resolved.

I have also seen flash drives or external hard drives stop working properly (not mounting or unable to read or write). Upon investigation these drives were not properly ejected before removal!  Disk Warrior often resolves this, but the knowledge of how to properly eject a drive can prevent this.
